Loann M. Garno, 79 of Holland, OH, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 18, 2016, at Lutheran Home of Wolf Creek. Born April 23, 1937, in Temperance, MI, she was the daughter of Dawson and Bessie (Miller) Grosteffon.  She was employed as a regional manager for the Industrial Commission/Ohio Bureau of Workman’s Compensation, Rehabilitation Division. For those who knew her, she loved her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. Loann loved to travel and was able to take trips many can only dream of. Her favorite travel companion was her dear friend, Pam Prince.  Loann was amazing in the kitchen and was like Snow White with her birds and feeders.  She blessed and enriched our lives in too many ways to count.

She is survived by her loving children, Jeffery Scott, Lisa (Shawn) Dearing and Trent (Tammy) Garno; grandchildren, Elissa (Keith) Rapp, Allison (Jason) Portala, Lauren Scott, and Hannah & Bailey Garno; great grandchildren, Tyler & Addisyn Rapp, Kamryn, Wyatt, Emersyn Portala and Hayden Scott; Sister, Sharon (Ted) Bialorucki; sister-in-law, Patricia Grosteffon and 6 nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Glen Grosteffon.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 11:00 am,  Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 am.  Pastor Nate Elarton, officiating.  Memorials may be made to Tourette Syndrome Association of America, Ohio Chapter. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
